Use caution handling SC. I'm not responsible for any harm caused if you make MMS. You would weigh 28 gms of Sodium Chlorite and mix with 72 gms of Distilled water, which yields a 22.4% Sodium Chlorite concentration. For a full 28% solution, you would use 35 gm of Sodium Chlorite to 65 gm of Distilled Water.

Is sodium chlorite the same as MMS?

MMS stands for a variety of product names, most commonly Miracle Mineral Solution. MMS typically describes a solution containing the chemical sodium chlorite, which at high strengths is used as a bleach. The term Chlorine Dioxide Solution (CDS) is also used to refer to sodium chlorite solutions.

How do you mix sodium chlorite?

Making Sodium Chlorite

Pour 3 quarts of water into a wide-mouthed, heatproof glass jar or glass beaker and heat to just under boiling. Add the 1/2 cup of salt to the water; continue heating the mixture until the salt is completely dissolved. Remove from heat when the salt is dissolved.

How do you dilute sodium chlorite?

Due to the potential for heat generation, it is important to dilute the sodium chlorite with water to a solution containing no more than 5% (wt.) sodium chlorite. At 5%, the pH of the solution should be approximately 11.9.

What is MMS made of?

Miracle Mineral Supplement, often referred to as Miracle Mineral Solution, Master Mineral Solution, MMS or the CD protocol, is chlorine dioxide, an industrial bleaching agent. It is made by mixing aqueous sodium chlorite with an acid (such as the juices of citrus fruits or vinegar).

Is sodium chlorite toxic?

Sodium chlorite solutions are corrosive and cause skin and eye irritation or burns. It is harmful if swallowed.

Is sodium chlorite the same as chlorine dioxide?

Chlorine dioxide is soluble in water and will react rapidly with other compounds. ... Sodium chlorite dissolves in water and forms chlorite ions and sodium ions. More than 80% of all chlorite (present as sodium chlorite) is used to make chlorine dioxide to disinfect drinking water.

What happens when you mix sodium chlorite and citric acid?

In many instances, the sodium chlorite is sold with a citric acid “activator.” When the acid is added, the mixture becomes chlorine dioxide, a powerful bleaching agent. Both sodium chlorite and chlorine dioxide are the active ingredients in disinfectants and have additional industrial uses.

What is the difference between sodium chloride and sodium chlorite?

Don't confuse sodium chlorite with sodium chloride. ... Sodium chloride is used for many things, but it's typically thought of as a seasoning and food preservative. Sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) is typically found in an industrial setting as a bleach and a disinfectant.

What happens when you mix sodium chlorite and hydrochloric acid?

Acid-Hypochlorite-Chlorite

First (equation 3), sodium hypochlorite is combined with hydrochloric or other acid to form hypochlorous acid. Sodium chlorite is then added to this reaction mixture to produce chlorine dioxide (equation 4).

Has anyone died from MMS?

The toxic bleach substance known as Miracle Mineral Solution, or MMS, has killed seven people in the US, according to new information from law enforcement in Colombia. The figure was made public after the arrest of Mark Grenon, who is wanted in the US on charges of marketing MMS as a cure for COVID-19.

How do you make a 25% sodium chlorite solution?

63.45 Kg X 0.25 = 15.86 Kg of sodium chlorite required to prepare 50 liters of 25% active sodium chlorite solution. 15.865 Kg NaClO2 ÷ 0.8 = 19.83 Kg of OxyChem Technical Sodium Chlorite dry product required to prepare the desired volume of 25% sodium chlorite solution.

How do I activate my MMS?

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap on Messages (it should be about halfway down the column that starts with "Passwords & Accounts").
3. Scroll down to the column with the heading "SMS/MMS" and if necessary tap on "MMS Messaging" to turn the toggle green.

The newspaper reports that MMS is banned in several countries, including Canada and Ireland, while its use in the UK and US is strictly controlled and has led to fraud prosecutions.

What are the side effects of MMS?

The FDA says MMS can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration. Supporters though, say those effects mean it's working. Aids, malaria and the common cold are all apparently no match for for what some say is a miracle in a bottle.

How does sodium chlorite work?

It is used mainly for the generation of chlorine dioxide in situ for bleaching textiles, in pulp and paper processing, and for disinfection. Sodium chlorite is used in a small number of water treatment plants to generate chlorine dioxide; this may result in low residual concentrations of chlorite in drinking-water.

What does sodium chlorite do?

Use. The main application of sodium chlorite is the generation of chlorine dioxide for bleaching and stripping of textiles, pulp, and paper. It is also used for disinfection of municipal water treatment plants after conversion to chlorine dioxide.

Who created MMS?

The inventor and chief advocate of MMS turns out to be one Jim Humble, a man who neatly contradicts the theory of nominative determinism pretty much every time he speaks.

Is MMS safe to take?

Using MMS at higher concentrations or for purposes other than water purification can pose a serious risk to your health. Using MMS in this way can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and severe dehydration.

What happens if you ingest sodium chlorite?

Sodium chlorite is a powerful oxidizing agent used to generate chlorine dioxide, which has several applications, including bleaching of pulp, paper, and textiles. When ingested, oxidizing agents can lead to methemoglobinemia, and intravascular hemolysis may ensue.

How do you make chlorine dioxide?

In the laboratory, ClO₂ can be prepared by oxidation of sodium chlorite with chlorine: 2 NaClO₂ + Cl₂ → 2 ClO₂ + 2 NaCl. Traditionally, chlorine dioxide for disinfection applications has been made from sodium chlorite or the sodium chlorite–hypochlorite method: 2 NaClO₂ + 2 HCl + NaOCl → 2 ClO₂ + 3 NaCl + H₂O.

How long does sodium chlorite last?

Sodium hypochlorite is highly reactive and volatile. At normal pH (6-8), sodium hypochlorite can degrade substantially within 2-3 weeks. This shelf life is not adequate for use in the SWS, which requires that the hypochlorite remain at a high enough concentration to inactivate disease-causing organisms.

Is chlorite the same as chlorine?

Chlorite and chloride are anions derived from chlorine atoms. Chlorite is an anion having the chemical formula ClO₂^– while Chloride is the anion having the chemical formula Cl^–. Chlorite is an oxyanion and contains oxygen atoms apart from chlorine.
